Lawrence A. Finn

Mr. Lawrence A. Finn, of Weymouth, formerly of Hull, passed away on May 14, 2024.

Larry passed away surrounded by his four children at the wonderful Pat Roche Hospice Home in Hingham. He grew up in Hull, MA, a place that held many great memories and remained dear to his heart until the end of his life.

The oldest of four, he always looked after his younger siblings, especially after his father’s death when he was 18.
Larry attended Hingham High School (Class of 47) and was an accomplished baseball and football player.

He went on to serve in the Air Force in Japan during the Korean conflict, then worked in the electronics industry for his entire career. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University night school over the course of 8 years, while working and raising children with his wife Lois. Larry also coached Weymouth Youth Hockey and Little League in Weymouth for many years.

Most notably, he was a loving, devoted and dependable husband, father, grandfather, son and brother. He always put other’s needs above his own, and everyone knew they could rely on Larry to help them.
His grandchildren were the greatest joy of his life, and he was happiest spending time and playing with them.
He will be greatly missed.

Husband of the late Lois (Howell) Finn.

Father of Lu-Anne Finn of Hingham, Mark Finn of Weymouth, Larry Finn of Hudson, and Charlene O’Sullivan and her husband.Stephen, of Weymouth. Former father in law of Carla Finn of Littleton.
