Laurence W. Watson

Watson, Laurence, Hingham & Falmouth, formerly of Belmont. After a life well-lived he died at home with hospice, surrounded by those who loved him most. A loving husband of 60 years to Nancy (Rose), terrific dad, enthusiastic and playful grampa, retired school social worker, Marine Lieutenant, ice cream lover, and gardner extraordinaire; Larry had a deep faith, quick wit and incredibly blue eyes. He will be joyfully remembered by his wife and children: Nancy (Stefan),Pam (Jocelyn),Bill (Melissa),Mark (Colleen); grandchildren: Caroline, Michala, Christopher, Jenna, Jack, Skylar, Maggie, David, Tucker; extended family: Carmeline Murphy, Jeanne Thompson, Kevin, Marge, Terry, Jack & Susan Rose, Dick Mixer, Jonathan Young, Jane Collins, and Phyllis Buscko, many nieces and nephews and cherished friends, Carol & Bob Walls. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in Church of the Resurrection, Hingham at 10 AM. Burial will be private.
