Laurence P. Dutra

Dutra, Laurence P. (Larry) of Weymouth, passed away July 1, 2018 after a long illness.

Larry was born in Dorchester to the late John and Irene Dutra. Larry worked at BankBoston/Bank of America 28 years as an operations manager. Larry was a graduate of Copley Square High School of Boston and the North Bennett Street Trade School for Locksmithing. He was a Boston sports fan and enjoyed his motorcycle and spending time with friends and family. 

Beloved husband of 37 years to Janet E. (Morrissey) Dutra of Weymouth. Loving father of Marc L. Dutra and his wife Jackie of Weymouth. Cherished Grampa to Christina and Carolyn Dutra. Brother of John Dutra, brother-in-law of Jeffrey Morrissey, and predeceased by his sister Janice Stoddard and brother-in-law Michael Morrissey. Larry is survived by 3 nieces, 3 nephews and many cousins. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
