Laurel A. Ericson

Ericson, Laurel A. (Nelson) of Plymouth, died suddenly on December 29, 2022. She was 61.

Laurel was a simple woman who cared so deeply for others. She was a nurse at South Shore Hospital, then went into working as a hospice nurse. In her free time, Laurel enjoyed fishing, bicycling, and spending time at home with her loving husband David and their dog Chester. The pair would look forward to their McDonald’s Wednesdays and Pizza Saturdays. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Loving wife to David L. Ericson of Plymouth. Doting sister to Stephen Nelson and his partner Isabel of Rockland, Douglas Nelson and his wife Victoria of CO, Brian Nelson and his wife Mary of Rockland, and Judith Pinkava and her husband Chris of FL. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday at 12:00 PM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main St. (Rt. 18 opp. South Shore Hospital), Weymouth. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth. In lieu of flowers, donations in Laurel’s name may be made to McLean SouthEast- Middleboro.
