Laura A. Kobosky

Laura A. (Joyce) Kobosky of Randolph, passed away September 13, 2013 after a long illness. She was 53. Laura grew up in Dorchester and lived in Randolph for many years. She worked as a certified nursing assistant at Cedar Hill Healthcare Center in Randolph for 14 years where her empathy and dedication awarded her many friends. Laura enjoyed shopping and spending time with her grandchildren. Her love for the beach makes the quote “The ocean is calling and I must go,” a perfect picture of where we know her to be now. 

Beloved wife of Marcus Kobosky of Randolph. Devoted mother of Kerry Jacob and her husband Brian of Weymouth and Jon Kobosky of Brockton. Cherished daughter of William and the late Lucy Joyce of Quincy. “Nana K” to Arianna, Camryn and Dylan. Loving sister of William P. Joyce, Jr. of Jamaica Plain and Stephen M. Joyce and his wife Theresa of Quincy. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Donation in memory of Laura may be made to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
