L. Kenneth La Bombard

LaBombard, L. Kenneth of Quincy, passed away suddenly on November 9, 2012, he was 65. Beloved husband of the late Eleanor (Kubera) LaBombard. Devoted father of Dawn LaBombard and her companion Luke Barmakian of Halifax. Cherished grandfather of Shawna Ashley McElman and Robert Kenneth McElman both of Halifax. Step-brother of Art Paturzzo of Bellingham. Kenneth is pre deceased by 7 sisters and brothers. Special Uncle to Christina Belbin of Quincy and Joshua Westgate of Dorchester. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Kenneth was a proud Vietnam Army Veteran. In years past, he was active in the D.A.V. post #13. He enjoyed boating and was proud of his American Indian heritage. Ken had a great sense of humor and truly enjoyed life. He will be remembered for his caring and generous nature. His family is grateful for all the blessings he brought into their lives, he will be sadly missed. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A graveside service will be held on Friday, Nov. 16 at 1 PM in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Kenneth may be made to the Chelsea Soldiers Home, 91 Crest Ave., Chelsea, MA 02150.
