Kyle J. Piazza

Piazza, Kyle J. of Quincy, passed away October 30, 2011. Beloved son of Karen L. (Goucher) and Joseph J. Piazza, Jr of Quincy. Brother of Corey J. Piazza his wife Katie, and Uncle to their son Cody J. of Sterling. Grandson of Muriel Goucher of West Bridgewater and the late Chester Goucher, Rose and Joseph Piazza. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Kyle was born in Stoughton, and had been a lifelong resident of Quincy. He had achieved his Masters Degree in Education and was employed as a Math Teacher for the past 6 years at Braintree High School. Kyle was also a track coach and Assistant Football Coach at Braintree High. He not only was the coach, but could also be found working out with the kids during practice. Kyle stayed in shape by participating in sports activities. As well as an avid sports fan, he enjoyed softball, wiffleball, football, baseball. and was on a championship wiffleball team. He also was a member of the Mass Teachers Association and enjoyed taking trips down to Foxwoods. Kyle was a great mentor and will be sorely missed by his family, colleagues, students, friends, and all who had the pleasure to know him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Kyle will be buried next to his Grandfather at Pine Hill Cemetery-West Bridgewater. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kyle J.
