Kristen N. Mclaughlin

Kristen Nicole Mclaughlin, 34 of Weymouth MA passed away unexpectedly in her sleep Saturday December 26th, 2020.

Kristen was born at St. Margaret’s Hospital in Boston and raised in Quincy. After graduating from Quincy College for Nursing, Kristen worked at the Brockton V.A. Kristen was very proud of her work as a Licensed Practical Nurse and returned to school to fulfill her dream of being a Registered Nurse.

When Kristen had her daughter Sophia in May 2019, she dedicated her life to being a wonderful mother. Kristen excelled at making all of her family and friends feel loved and supported. Kristen left a positive imprint on everyone she came in contact with.

Kristen is survived by her daughter Sophia Mae Mclaughlin, her mother Edna Mae Bell, her sisters Katlynn and Katherine Bell. She is also survived by her aunts Francis Green and Susan Mclaughlin, uncles John Green, William Mclaughlin, and Paul Mclaughlin, and many cousins. Kristen was the beloved granddaughter of the late Edna and Frank Mclaughlin.

Kristen was the caretaker for her live-in uncle William Mclaughlin. She was devoted to him and shared a special bond that filled his life with love.

Kristen’s wake is Thursday, January 7th from 4-8p.m at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, 809 Main Street, South Weymouth.  The funeral service will be private for family only.
