Kennedy, Kristen C. of Weymouth, formerly of Braintree and Dedham died October 24, 2013.
Beloved daughter of Paul Kennedy and Rose (Volpe) Kennedy of Quincy. Loving sister of Paul Kennedy and his wife Maria of Milton and Melissa Kennedy of Auterlitz, New York. Devoted partner of Tracee Whitley of Lexington Kentucky. Cherished aunt of Vincent and Ian Kennedy of Milton. Kristen is also lovingly survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kristen was born in Quincy and raised and educated in Braintree. She was a graduate of Braintree High School class of 1982, Parson School of Design in New York and Mass College of Art. She was the owner and operator of Inhabit Designs in Weymouth. Kristen was a very talented designer and artist, creating beauty in everything she touched. She enjoyed skiing, gardening and most recently paddle boarding. Most of all Kristen loved children and her family. She was truly loved and will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known her.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Cremation will follow.
