Kiet The Luong

Kiet The Luong passed away and went to be with the Lord on February 16 at the age of 64.

Kiet was born and raised Saigon Vietnam along with two other sisters. He left Vietnam after Saigon fell during the Vietnam War. He immigrated to America where he went to college and got an associates degree in electronic technician.

His hobbies during his free time is that reads martial arts books enjoys watching films like Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris during his free time.

Kiet lived in Dorchester where he met and married Hong Phuc Huynh and had Samuel, their only child before moving to Quincy a year later.

Kiet was very strong in his faith in Christianity. He likes to read the Bible and write scriptures to learn about more about their meaning and apply them to his daily life. He also likes to watch sermons on TV and was a generous person by donating tithes to Christian organizations. His favorite Bible verse is “Psalm 34:8

Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the one who take refuge in him.”

Kiet is survived by his wife Hong, his son Samuel, his sisters Dung and Duyen. He is also survived by his niece and nephew; Thu, An, Huong, Liem, and Huy.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday Feb. 25 from 10-11am in the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. Quincy. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
