Kevin Francis Vey

Kevin Francis Vey, 69, of Boston, Massachusetts, passed away on August 2, 2024, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Born in Boston on May 24, 1955, Kevin spent his life embracing the joys of the outdoors and the company of his loved ones.

Kevin was a retired electrician from IBEW Local 103, and the MBTA. An avid boater and camper, Kevin cherished his time on the water and under the stars. His passion for home improvement projects showcased his knack for storytelling, often sharing tales of his adventures with anyone he met. Above all, Kevin adored spending quality time with his grandchildren and family, creating lasting memories they will hold dear.

He is survived by his wife Maureen of 43 years, daughter Kaitlin Magnoli (husband Anthony Magnoli) and his three grandsons Liam, Noah and Owen. He also leaves behind his father James Vey Sr., brothers Stephen (wife Deborah) and Bill Vey, Mother- in law Olive Warrenfeltz, sister-in-law Colleen Bible (husband Robert Bible) as well as nieces and nephews Allison, Kristina, Billy Ir., Coreen, Vanessa, Diane, James the third and Melissa.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, September 28th, at the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. His legacy of love, adventure, and storytelling will live on through his family and the many lives he touched.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation in Kevin’s name may be made to St. Joseph’s Indian School, PO Box 100, Chamberlain, SD, 57325.
