Kevin R. Milchunes

On Tuesday, July 6, 2021, Kevin R. Milchunes passed away at the age of 73 at his home in Middleboro, MA. 

Kevin was born on December 16, 1947 in Somerville, MA to Edwin I and Anne M (Dennehy) Milchunes. He was a graduate of Charlestown High School and later became a proud member of the United States Marine Corp Reserves before his career working for the former Boston Gas Company.

Kevin married his beloved wife June M (Colgate) Milchunes in October, 1969 and together they settled into their home in Weymouth, MA where they raised their two children.

Kevin was a soft, caring man hiding behind a tough, no-nonsense exterior. He enjoyed cooking, with many having enjoyed his homemade pizza nights. Kevin was also an avid golfer, spending many of his retirement days on a course with his brother Eddie.

Kevin was preceded in death by his dear wife June, his father Edwin, his mother Anne, and his longtime companion Barbara Willard

He is survived by his daughter Karen (Milchunes) Campbell and her husband Shawn Campbell, as well as his son David Milchunes and his wife Traci (Miller) Milchunes. Kevin also leaves behind his four grandchildren; Megan and Maddy Campbell, and Emma and Ryan Milchunes in addition to his brother Eddie Milchunes and many other close friends and family. 

Services are private.  A ‘Big Kev Memorial Party’ will be held at a later date for all to celebrate.
