Kevin P. Colleran

Colleran, Kevin P. of Quincy, passed away January 6, 2012. Beloved husband and best friend of Barbara (Baker) Colleran of Quincy. Brother of Brian Colleran of N. Weymouth, Andrew Colleran of Mansfield, and the late Robert Colleran. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Kevin was many things; a loving husband, athlete, a sports fan, especially of the Red Sox and Patriots, and a good friend. He played football, hockey and baseball in high school and college. Kevin loved people, walking, the beach, movies, going out to dinner, and plays. He loved traveling; especially to Aruba, where he once saved a man from drowning. He was a 1969 graduate of of North Quincy High School, a 1971 graduate of Burdett College and a 25 year employee of New England Telephone / NYNEX, retiring in 1997. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
