Kevin M. Hurney

Hurney, Kevin M. of East Boston formerly of Dorchester passed away August 28, 2011. Beloved son of Carol A. Hurney of Millis and John H. Hurney of Roslindale. Loving brother of Thomas Hurney and his wife Grace of Quincy, John Hurney of Medford, Elizabeth Weir and her husband David of Millis, Erin Schiavo and her husband John of Norwood, Maureen Shurtleff and her husband Harold of Taunton, Richard Hurney and his wife Daniela of Spain and Sean Hurney of Roslindale. Dear grandson of Margery Baxter of Quincy. Kevin was also lovingly survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and one great-niece. Kevin was Born and educated in Boston. He was a graduate of Madison Park High School in Roxbury and attended Franklin Institute. Kevin enjoyed drafting, playing pool and bowling. Kevin was a very spiritual man who loved God, reading the Bible and spending quality time with family and friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:30 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, West Roxbury.
