Kevin G. O’Connell

O’Connell, Kevin G. of N. Quincy, died January 6, 2014.

Kevin was born in Boston and lived in N. Quincy.  A 1967 graduate of North Quincy High School, he was a proud Red Raider.  His family gave him the most enjoyment in his life.  He was a 42 year electrician and member of IBEW Local 103.  He served his country in the Army National Guard.  Kevin was a life member of the Savin Hill Yacht Club and served as Past Commodore.  He also belonged to the Quincy Elks.  He was passionate, loyal, trustworthy, and enjoyed a healthy debate.  He will be missed. 

Beloved husband of Mary (Quinlan) O’Connell of N. Quincy. Father of Brendan O’Connell and his wife Candice of N. Quincy, and James O’Connell and his wife Katie of Braintree.  Brother of Kathleen Blair of FL, Michael O’Connell of Quincy, and William O’Connell of Quincy. Grandfather of Owen and Logan O’Connell.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10 AM.  Cremation will follow.
