Kevin F. Mchugh

McHugh, Kevin F. of South Weymouth, formerly of Hingham passed away suddenly at home on March 17, 2013 at the age of 40.

Kevin was a bartender by trade. He loved people, talking, and taking care of others. He could always lift you up with a story, joke, or punch line from a movie. Kevin loved sports, especially basketball. He has been a loyal Celtics fan since childhood and always wore his Celtics gear with pride, even when they were terrible. Kevin also enjoyed playing golf with his friends. He loved music and was known for playing it loudly. Kevin was always there for anyone who needed him. He loved his family tremendously and his dog Indie. He was very close with all his siblings and adored his nephews and nieces: Kelly, Madison, TJ, Nora, Jordyn, Abigail, Rory, and Ronan. Kevin will be remembered for his jovial nature, kind heart and his larger than life personality. He was truly loved by all and will be eternally missed by all who knew him.

He was the beloved husband of Karen (Soule) McHugh. Father of the late Liam Gerard McHugh. Son of Marie McHugh and John McHugh of Hingham. Brother of Marybeth Schombert of Eugene, OR, John P. “Jay” McHugh and wife Melissa of Quincy and Allyson McHugh of Hingham. Son in law of Barbara and George Soule of Whitman. Brother in law of Steven Soule and Dianne Soule, both of Hanson.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hosp.)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
