Kevin F. Mccone

McCone, Kevin F. of Hingham, died July 21, 2015.

Beloved husband of 32 years of Donna (Keim) McCone of Hingham. Devoted father of Patrick McCone of Weymouth and Julie McCone of Hingham. Loving son of the late James McCone and Monica McCone Gaffney. Caring brother of Roberta McMann of Boston and Peter McCone and his wife Helen of Wellesley.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Kevin is a retired employee of NE Tel., AT&T and Lucent Tech. He was an organizer for IBEW and a Charter Member of Local 2222. He was a longtime Board of Director of Liberty Bay Credit Union, still serving at the time of his death. In addition, he was a veteran of the US Air Force. 

Kevin loved spending time at his summer home in Dennisport, enjoyed sailing and going to the beach, and playing bridge with old friends. His main passion was spending time with his family and all of those he loved. He will be sadly missed by all.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 3-7 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Discalced Carmelite Monastery, Danvers, MA or Hingham Elder Services,  Hingham MA.
