Coleman, Kevin F. of Quincy after a brief illness, May 16, 2007. The beloved husband of 42 years to Helen M.(Mahoney) Coleman of Quincy. Devoted father of Tracy Coleman of Melrose and Kristen Coleman-Moore of Whitman. Loving brother of Ann “Nancy” Sicard of Palm Harbor, Fl and Nashua, NH. Kevin is also survived by several nephews, many relatives and dear friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Saturday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, 386 Hancock St. North Quincy at 9 AM. Visiting hours Friday 4- 8 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Donations in memory of Mr. Coleman may be made to the Quincy YMCA Partnership Program, Persons with disabilities, 79 Coddington Street, Quincy, MA 02169. Kevin was born in Medford, Massachusetts and grew up in Somerville. He moved to Quincy when he married his wife Helen (Mahoney) 42 years ago. Kevin worked as a computer consultant for John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance company in Boston for more than 40 years. Mr. Coleman retired back in 2000. After complication from a stroke, Mr. Coleman joined the Quincy YMCA and worked diligently with the partnership program persons with disabilities, faithfully three times a week. Kevin also enjoyed reading, traveling, computers and in his earlier years he enjoyed sailing. His family remembers him as a very generous and kind man who found good in every person. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Until we meet again, Kevin,may God hold you in the palm of his hand. Rest in peace.
