O’Toole, Kenneth of Quincy, died August 2, 2014 at home surrounded by his family.

Ken was born, raised, and educated in S. Boston. He married his wife of over 43 years, Marie in 1970 and then settled in Quincy to raise a family. He owned The Shamrock Pub in S. Boston for 25 years and was also a teamster in local 25 for 25 years. Ken enjoyed walks at Castle Island, going to Florida in the winters, playing cards but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family especially his 5 grandchildren.

Ken is survived by his beloved wife Marie (Moakley) O’Toole of Quincy, his loving children Maureen Griffin and her husband Rich of Cohasset, Matthew O’Toole and his wife Kate of Braintree, Daniel O’Toole and his fiancé Mimi Principi of Weymouth. Brother to Robert and Marie O’Toole, Kevin and Joyce O’Toole, Audrey and her late husband William O’Toole. Ken is also survived by his cherished grandchildren Henry, William, Olivia, Ella, and Emmett.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home at 785 Hancock St., Quincy. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:30AM Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM.

Donations in Ken’s name may be made to Seasons Hospice at 275 Grove St, Newton, MA 02466 or Boston VNA at 500 Rutherford Ave #101, Charlestown, MA 02129. Burial services will be private.
