Kenneth Purcell

Purcell, Kenneth E. of Quincy, formerly of Roslindale and West Roxbury, died suddenly December 12, 2010. The beloved son of the late Alexander K. & Jane (Lynch) Purcell. Loving brother of Robert J. Purcell and his wife Janet of Quincy and Ellen (Purcell) Klink and her husband Joseph of Nahant. Ken was a beloved uncle who was a very positive influence on his nephews Brian, Stephen, and John Purcell. He was also survived by his grandnieces Alexis and Stella. Ken worked as a manager for Hannaford Supermarket in North Quincy and was a former Teamster, Local 25. He was an avid golfer and astronomy enthusiast. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Cremation will follow.
