Kenneth J. Laplume

LaPlume, Kenneth J. of Braintree July 13, 2006. Beloved companion of Judith Sneider of Braintree. Father of Renee LaPlume and Kerry LaPlume both of of Weymouth, Jennifer Marchant of Rockland, Heather Ricciarelli of Weymouth, and Amy LaPlume of Chestnut Hill. Loving brother of Claire Fasci and Jeanne Silva both of Quincy, Kathleen Pearson and John LaPlume both of Weymouth, and Norman LaPlume of Braintree. Son of the late Henry and Catherine LaPlume. Also survived by 4 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Tuesday at 10:30 AM. Visiting hours Monday 4 – 8 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Donations in memory of Kenneth LaPlume may be made to Pine Street Inn, 444 Harrison Ave., Boston, MA 02118. Ken graduated from Quincy High and had been working for over 23 years as a Custodian for the Milton School system, foundly known as the “singing custodian”. He also worked part-time for St. Agatha’s Church in Milton. Ken loved fishing, camping, traveling, and watching TV. He was member of the American Legion, The Moose Lodge, VFW, and various fishing clubs. Ken served in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict.
