Kenneth Paul Franco

Kenneth Paul Franco, of Quincy, died peacefully on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. He was 75.

Kenny was born in Waltham on September 6, 1949, and was the son of the late Edward A. and Eleanor (DiPanfilo) Franco. He was raised in South Boston and attended local schools. Following high school graduation, Kenny moved to Quincy. 

Kenny worked for the VA Hospital in Jamaica Plain for 40 years. He loved his work and the relationships he built throughout the years. 

Kenny was the devoted brother of Linda A. Cully of Whitman and the late Kathleen A. Franco, who died in July of 2024. He was the loving cousin of Donna O’Neill and her husband Kevin of Quincy and Gail DelCore-Santacroce of Plymouth. Kenny was a cherished uncle of seven and a cherished great uncle of twelve. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday November 12, 2024, from 4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Wednesday November 13, 2024, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM.

Services will conclude with interment in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
