Kenneth Benson Smith, 73, of West Wareham, died July 14, 2018.

 

Born in Boston, Ken graduated from Weymouth High School. He attended Baldwin Wallace College in Ohio and went on to be a successful finance executive working for a series of small companies in Massachusetts, most notably TW Kutter and Harpak.

 

Beloved husband of 50 years to Karen (Anderson) Smith of Randolph, he was the loving father to Jefferey Smith of Cohasset, Eric Smith of San Antonio, TX, and Kimberly Garbarino of Brentwood, NH. Cherished grandfather of 9 and devoted brother to John (Jack) Smith, Dave Smith, the late Don Smith and Nancy Stuart. Ken loved being with his friends and family whether that was at the Maple Park Campground, the golf course, the Elks, or the many family gatherings throughout the south shore. He enjoyed golfing, playing pool, playing piano and was an avid Boston sports fan. He will be dearly missed by all.

 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, July 18th from 4pm to 8pm, in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, 3 Charles Street, East Weymouth. A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 19th at Old South Union Church, 25 Columbian St., South Weymouth at 10am. Burial in Village Cemetery, Weymouth.
