Kathleen P.Cady-Ploof

Kathleen P.Cady-Ploof of Weymouth, died suddenly January 23, 2015 at the age of 53. 

Cherished daughter of Anna Cady of Rockland and the late Walter M. Cady Jr. Beloved wife of James H. Ploof. Loving mother of Lyle Braaten and Kevin Braaten of Weymouth. Treasured stepmother of Bridget Ploof and Kyle Ploof of NY. Loving sister of Anna Marie Hustus and her late husband David of Waltham, Beatrice Perry and her late husband Richard of Raymond, NH, Coreen T. Barese and husband Anthony of Rockland, Walter M. Cady III and husband Scott MacDowell of Watertown, Kelley Cady of Weymouth, and the late Joseph Sean Cady. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.

Kathleen was a 1979 graduate of Weymouth North High School and received her Associates Degree in Business at Quincy College and her Bachelors Degree in Business at UMass Boston.  She was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was proud to be stationed at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii.

Kathleen was a Project Manager at Partners Healthcare in Boston and prior to that worked in Human Resources at Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA.

She loved traveling, reading, walking with her husband and dog Shiloh and spending time with her family.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 5-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday at 2 PM in the Old South Union Church, 25 Columbian St., South Weymouth.
