Kathleen P. Boyle

Boyle, Kathleen P. “Kay” (Foley) of Hingham, formerly Hull, took her first breath May 9, 1927 and peacefully took her last breath November 2, 2017.

Kay loved her family and her faith. She was a devout Catholic and very active in her parish. She enjoyed home decorating, walking the beach, reading and traveling. Kay had a nice Irish humor, was principled, and hard working. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Beloved wife of the late Alfred G. Boyle. Loving mother of Michael G. Boyle and his wife Kimberly A. of Hingham, Kathleen A. Peloquin of Hingham, and James J. Boyle and his wife Patricia K. of South Weymouth. Cherished sister of Barbara Tracey of West Buxton, ME and the late Mary Anderson, Margaret Shelley, and James Foley. Loving Grandma Kay of Christopher, Andrew, Alexander, and Caitlin Boyle, Ryan Peloquin, and James, Michael, Colin, and Melissa Boyle. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Kay may be made to Marian Manor, 130 Dorchester St., Boston, MA 02127.
