Kathleen Madden

Kathleen (Porter) Madden, of Quincy, Formerly of Hull and Dorchester passed away suddenly on July 2, 2012. The daughter of the late George and Kathleen Porter and the sister of the late Wilber, Kevin, and Georgina. She is survived by her sister Abigail Egan of Needham, brother Edward Porter and sister Sheila Porter. Former wife of John J. Madden of Dorchester. Beloved mother of John of Quincy, Jeffrey of Weymouth, Sheila of Wisconsin, Michael of Quincy, Anthony of Quincy, Kathy White of Michigan, Robert of Hingham, David of Florida, Gina of Salem, and the late Patricia. Kathleen worked as a nurse for several Boston hospitals and retired after many years at Long Island Hospital. Kathleen loved doing jigsaw puzzles, going to Cape Cod and was a devoted New England Patriots fan. Visiting hours for Kathleen will be held on Monday, July 9th from 4-8 p.m. in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street QUINCY. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
