Kathleen M. (Michaud) Clifford, of Quincy and formerly of Lynn, died peacefully in the comfort of her home Wednesday, March 25, 2020. She was 68 years young.
Born and raised in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Louise (LaRocque) Michaud and attended local schools. Kathleen worked as a quality analyst in the finance industry. She worked for Computer Share for many years and then later with the South Shore VNA. Later in life she worked at the CVS in East Milton Square and then Total Wine in Braintree.
In her spare time, Kathleen enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She was a devoted nana to her two grandchildren and would do anything for the people she loved and cared for. When Kathleen wasn’t with her family, she enjoyed spending a quiet night at home, observing the wildlife that stopped by outside her window, watching Real Housewives and drinking a glass or two of sangria. Kathleen was also an avid animal lover. Her two dogs, George and Riley “Eiley” were like children to her.
Kathleen was one of a kind. She was loyal, joyful, authentic, resilient, loving, hardworking, strong and independent. Kathleen had so many great attributes that made her a beautiful person and left a lasting impression on all who met her. Her life lessons and example are part of her legacy that continue through her family. She will be missed by all the lives she touched.
Kathleen was the devoted mother of Melissa Clifford Eleey and her husband Eric and the loving nana of Jacob C. and Luke N. Eleey, all of Hanover. She was a cherished niece of Marguerite Jermyn of Hamilton and the dear cousin of Cindy Miraglia and her husband Charlie of New Jersey, Stephen Jermyn and his wife Heather of Gloucester, John Jermyn and his wife Eileen of Gloucester and Eric Jermyn and his wife Kathie of Maine.
