Enos, Kathleen A. “Kay” (Egan) of East Weymouth, died February 28, 2021.
Kay was proud of her Irish Heritage and enjoyed listening to Irish music. She was an avid Boston Sports fan and a devoted hockey mom. Kay was a talented sewer and created magic out of a needle and thread. She will be remembered for her pure faith and her unconditional loving personality. Kay’s main passion in life was her family and spending time with those she loved, especially her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Beloved wife of the late Elbert Enos. Loving mother of Eileen Enos of East Weymouth, Robert “Bob” Enos of Hingham and the late Michael Enos. Devoted Nana of Lauren, Rob and Joseph and their mother Jennifer Enos and Great Nana of Rob Jr., Malik, Savannah and Catherine. Caring sister of Mary Egan, Peggy Cooke, Ann Marcelonis, Theresa Egan and the late Eileen Egan. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 10:30 am at Immaculate Conception, 720 Broad Street, Weymouth, MA, 02189, followed by a Burial service in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Kathleen Enos may be made to Massachusetts General Hospital Development Office, 125 Nashua Street, Suite 540, Boston MA 02114 to further research Breast and Prostate Cancer.
Normally, the funeral is an opportunity for the community to gather in support of one another. Although we cannot gather together with Kathleen’s family at this time, friends may still offer their support sharing a special memory or message.
