Kathleen J. Galewski

Galewski, Kathleen J. (McCarthy) of Weymouth, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2021. Born in Boston to the late Patrick and Catherine McCarthy, Kathleen graduated from Fitton High School and Burdette School of Business. A devout parishioner of St. Jerome’s parish, and a devoted wife and mother, Kathleen was most proud of her beautiful family and enjoyed spending time with them. She loved to read, have Sunday dinners with her daughters, and play a good game of Scrabble. 

Kathleen will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was the beloved wife of 66 years to the late Francis A. Galewski. Loving mother of Kathleen Galewski of Brockton, Marie Sheehan of Whitman, Gerard Galewski of Weymouth, Stephen Galewski and Janice of Abington, Teresa Hachey of Hanson and Paul Galewski and Liz of Raynham. Cherished Nana of 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Sister of the late Adele McCarthy and Virginia Sullivan. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 8:30 – 10 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). A Funeral Mass will follow in St. Jerome Church, North Weymouth at 10:30 AM on Monday. Burial will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
