Kathleen F. Stonestreet

Kathleen F. “Kay” (Bell) Stonestreet of Stoughton, formerly of Whitman and South Boston, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2018 with her family by her side.

Kay enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She especially enjoyed entertaining and sharing her home, whether it was for Sunday dinner, a holiday or a night playing cards. She looked forward to visits with her sister and socializing at the beauty parlor with her friends. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, watching movies with them or hearing about their day. She was extremely proud of her Irish heritage.  Kay will be forever loved and missed by her family and friends and her love, strength, wisdom, humor and deep thoughtfulness will be forever cherished.

Adored and loving mother of Brenda McGivern and her husband Brian of Stoughton and Laura Fiore and her husband Paul of Boston. Cherished Nana of Sean, Ryan and Conor. Loving sister of John Bell of Germany, Eleanor Aukstikalnis of Virginia and the late Doris Bazinet and Kevin Bell. Best friend of the late Hal Willis. Kay is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she cherished dearly.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM.

Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.
