Brennan, Kathleen E. (Tierney) of Weymouth, died November 1, 2013 after a long battle with cancer.
Kathleen grew up in Dorchester before moving to Weymouth, where she resided for over 37 years. She enjoyed special dinners at the East Bay Grille in Plymouth. Kathleen was also a huge Boston sports fan; in particular, she had a special place in her heart for Tom Brady. Her main passion was her family and spending time with her boys, Shawn and Joseph. Kathleen will be missed greatly by her boys.
Kathleen was the beloved mother of Shawn Brennan of Weymouth and Joseph Brennan of Braintree; supported by Shawn’s girlfriend Lynn and Joe’s wife Jennifer. Kathy was also the loving Nana of Andrew Houldcroft of Rockland, MA. Kathy was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jennie Tierney. Her devoted best friend, Kathy McCarthy, lives in East Falmouth.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday, the 6th of November in the year 2013, from 3-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home – SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Route 18, opposite South Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Thursday, the 7th of November; prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth, MA at 10:30 AM. The burial will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton, MA.
