Kathleen (Rull) Chrisom  of South Weymouth, passed peacefully at Tufts Medical Center on April 24, 2025, she was 66 years old.

Kate was the devoted wife of 36 years to Peter J. Chrisom, Jr. She was also the loving and supportive mother of Peter L. Chrisom of Quincy. Daughter of the late William and Eileen Rull. Sister of Rosemary Burgess and her husband Steven of Plainville. Sister-in-law of Patricia McCart of Braintree, Sean Chrisom and his wife Faith of Chatham, Susan deVarennes of Marshfield, Brian Chrisom of Boston, Brendan Chrisom and his wife Karen of West Yarmouth, Maureen Berry and her husband Chris of Marshfield, and Kevin Chrisom and his wife Amy of Milton. Kate graduated from Fontbonne Academy in Milton and earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from Northeastern University. She went on to begin her teaching career at St. Kevin’s School in Dorchester and later went on to St. Francis Xavier in Weymouth She was especially proud of her work as a Catholic school teacher, where she shared her faith, values, and knowledge with the many children she taught. Before pursuing her passion for teaching, Kate worked as a sales representative at Filene’s. During her summers, she also worked at St. Coletta’s in Braintree, where she met the love of her life, Peter.

After retiring from teaching, Kate continued nurturing young minds at Just Right Child Care in Weymouth . She cared for the Zbyszewski family of five children — Natalie, Anne, Evelyn, Daniel, and Jack — a role that truly epitomized her nurturing spirit and deep love for children.

Outside of her professional life, Kate was an avid reader and enjoyed participating in her book clubs. She cherished her time spent with her "beach buddies" on Cape Cod.
