Kathleen Ann “Cathi” Jeffrey, of Warwick, Rhode Island, and formerly of Hull, died suddenly at her home on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. She was 60.
Cathi was born in Weymouth on February 7, 1962, and was a daughter of the late Robert Warren and Mary Ann (McLaughlin) Jeffrey. She was raised in Hull and attended local schools.
Cathi worked for the Patriot Ledger for twenty-five years. She then changed careers, and entered the hospitality industry with Marriott, where she worked for eight years. Before her death, Cathi had been working in the automotive industry.
Though Cathi didn’t have children of her own, she was a proud dog mother of her golden retriever, Clooney. She loved Clooney more than anything, and he was her whole life. Cathi would take him for walks, car rides, and spend the day at the beach with him regularly. Sadly, Clooney died in October of 2022, and Cathi was heartbroken. Her family takes solace in knowing she is reunited with Clooney today. In her spare time, Cathi enjoyed going to the movies and spending time at her home.
Cathi was the beloved sister of Maureen T. Jeffrey of Rockland, Karen L. King and her late husband Martin of New Port Richey, Florida, and Denise M. Jeffrey of Braintree. She was the devoted Aunt of Ashley Kaes of Plymouth, Julianne Kaes of Middleboro, Michael Kaes of Braintree, Sean Roberts of New Port Richey, Florida, and the late Gary Roberts. Cathi was the devoted great aunt of MacKenna Roberts of North Carolina, Landen Roberts of North Carolina, Ayla Roberts of Florida, and William Higgins of Plymouth. She was the dear niece of Arlene Jeffrey of Hull and Susan Jeffrey of Weymouth. Cathi is also survived by many loving extended family members and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visitation on Friday, January 6, 2023, from 9-9:45 AM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Friday, January 6, 2023, prior to the Funeral Mass at St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 10:30 AM.
Services will conclude with interment in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in Cathi’s name to MSPCA, Attn: Donation, 350 S. Huntington Ave., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.
