Kathleen A. Capasso

Kathleen A. (Garrity) Capasso of Weymouth, passed on October 8, 2022 at the age of 70.

Kathy was a graduate of Weymouth High School but went on to make a career in the hairstyling and beautician business. Outside of work, Kathy was an avid fan of classic rock music, sports cars, and beachgoing. She also enjoyed hosting family gatherings at poolside and at Christmas time. She loved to cook big meals for the extended family. Kathy was a deeply caring person – always offering or providing assistance for the benefit of others.

She was the loving mother of Steven Capasso of TN. Cherished daughter of Edith Garrity of Weymouth and the late Eugene Garrity. Loving sister of Michael E. Garrity of Sagamore Beach, Kevin Garrity and his wife Lynda of Plymouth, Patricia Short and her husband Chris of Quincy and the late Steven Garrity. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather for a graveside service on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 2 PM. A Celebration-of-Life is also being planned. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Kathleen may be made to St. Jerome Church, 632 Bridge Street, Weymouth, MA 02191 or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
