Kathleen A. Creed

Creed, Kathleen A. of Weymouth, passed away September 23, 2023. Kathleen was born in Brockton, later becoming a longtime resident of Weymouth. She was a graduate of Weymouth North High School, Class of 1983. Kathleen worked for many years at Sunlife Insurance. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She would do anything for anyone always. Kathleen was an avid Boston sports fan, especially the Bruins and Patriots. She also loved leopards (and leopard-print clothing), tigers, her kitties Tigger, Sophie and MJ, the calming sounds of waves at the beach, traveling to the peaceful White Mountains was a favorite destination. She was a kind-hearted goofball and spread so much love to everyone she crossed paths with.

Beloved daughter of the late James and Barbara (Hogan) Creed and stepdaughter of Bernice Creed of Weymouth. Loving mother of Michael J. Diggin, Jr. of Rockland and Lauren Diggin of Weymouth. Dear sister of Daniel Creed of Plympton, Timothy Creed (Robin Garland) of Abington, Thomas Creed of ME, Gregory Cohen of Weymouth, Leslie (Stephen) Jacobson of CA, Robert (Christine) Creed of Whitman, Theresa (Michael) Magnotti of VA, Marta (Gregory) Burke of Duxbury, William Creed of ME, Steven Cohen of Cohasset and Tyler “Jeffrey” Cohen of CA. Former wife of Michael J. Diggin. Devoted sister in law of Jane Silcox and William Diggin.  Beloved niece of the late Leona Moore. Cherished Nanya of Emma and JJ Diggin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Monday 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10 AM on Tuesday prior, to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 11 AM. Burial in Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
