Katherine Maloney

Maloney, Katherine (Drinan) “Kay” of Weymouth, died December 12, 2017.

Kay was born to the late David and Nora Drinan and grew up in South Boston. She was a member of the Castle Island Associaiton and the South Boston Irish American Club. Kay loved to spend time with her family and friends

Beloved wife of the late Edward J. Maloney. Loving mother of Patricia MacSwain and her husband Al of Hanson, Ann Marie Maloney of Weymouth, Katherine McDonough and her husband Joseph of Whitman and Mary Beth Hillson and her husband Paul of Weymouth. Cherished grandmother to Daniel, Timothy, Jacquelyn and Nicholas MacSwain, Caroline, Thomas, Andrew, Stephen and Elise McDonough and Paul, Katie, Elizabeth and Emily Hillson. Kay is also a great grandmother to Harper MacSwain. Predeceased by her sisters Marialyce Eastman and Barbara Connelly. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 1-4 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 10 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 11 AM. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.
