Katherine (Diamond) Simpson

Simpson, Katherine (Diamond) of Brockton, died May 12, 2013. She was 56.

Kathy grew up in Weymouth, graduation from Weymouth South High School and has lived in Brockton for several years. She proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. In her early years Kathy enjoyed playing sports and has been an avid football fan all her life. She also enjoyed playing bingo and going to the movies. She will be sadly missed.  

Beloved daughter of Emily (Fisher) Diamond of Bridgewater and the late Donald J. Diamond. Loving sister of Lee Thornton of Weymouth, Donald “Bud” Diamond, Jr. of Weymouth, Nancy Blinn of Rockland and Lisa O’Neill of Plymouth. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Thursday at 11 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Funeral service will follow in the funeral home on Thursday at 12 PM. Burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Kathy may be made to the Jimmy Fund Clinic, 1309 Beacon Street, Brookline, MA 02446.
