Katherine C. Aalto

Aalto, Katherine C. (Finnegan) of Quincy formerly of Weymouth and Middleboro, May 30, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Frank Aalto, Loving mother of the late Francis Aalto, Jr., and Richard W. Aalto, Sister of Margaret Johnson of CA, and the late Mary Roche, Anne Williams,Thomas,Patrick, William, Peter and Neil Finnegan. Grandmother of Richard and Kimberly Aalto. Mother in law of Nanette Aalto of Brockton. Special Aunt of Debora and Fred Nigro and Lois Roche all of Quincy. Dear friend of Peg Kemmett and Janie Thompson. Katherine is also survived by many Nieces, Nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Katherine enjoyed volunteering her time at Long Island Hospital and spending time at the Salvation Army Adult Day Care program in Quincy. She was a member of the O’Brien Towers Tenant Association. Katherine had many hobbies among them were crocheting,playing cards, arts and crafts , and crossword puzzels. Katherine was known for being a kind and patient mother , aunt and friend. She will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure to know her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St. Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Quincy at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Monday 5- 8 PM. Cremation will follow. Donations in memory of Katherine may be made to Salvation Army Adult Day Care Program, 6 Baxter St., Quincy, MA 02169
