Karen R. Hilchey

Hilchey, Karen R. of Quincy, died February 17, 2023.  

Karen adored her family and spending time with them. She loved doing paint by numbers and her strokes over the years never inhibited her from doing it. Karen enjoyed watching Hallmark Christmas movies, shopping, traveling to NH and FL, and was an avid Red Sox fan. She was a loving, generous, and sweet woman whose stubbornness always shown through and made her family smile. She will be greatly missed. 

Loving daughter of George Hilchey of Quincy and the late Joan Hilchey. Cherished sister of Joyce McGee and her husband Robert of Quincy and Kenneth Hilchey and his wife Christine of Plymouth. Loving aunt of Colleen McGee, Kenneth Hilchey, and Maureen Courtney. Also survived by lifelong friends Cindy Wan and Kay and Beto Lo Giudice, and many cousins. Predeceased by her dog Zoey. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral home service will be celebrated on Friday at 11 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Karen may be made to the American Breast Cancer Foundation, 10440 Little Patuxent Parkway, Suite 300, Columbia, MD 21044.
