Karen M. Duke

Duke, Karen M. of Dorchester died September 29, 2022.  

Karen adored her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to go to Nantasket Beach, cooking, and listening to music. She was a one of a kind woman who loved being social and meeting new people. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Loving daughter of the late Gordon and Helen Duke. Beloved wife of the late Paul Valencia. Loving mother of Jessica Wray and her husband Peter of Northborough, Courtney Duke of Chelsea, and Taylor Duke of Quincy. Cherished sister of Billy Duke and his wife Michelle of Braintree. Devoted Nonnie of Daniel Murphy, Jr., Leanna Murphy, Nalaliyce Figueroa, and the late Carliycia Figueroa. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday October 21st from 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Saturday October 22nd prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Karen Duke’s Funeral Memorial Services Fund.
