Karen M. Dugan

Dugan, Karen M. (Geoghegan) age 65 of Quincy, passed away September 13, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.

Karen was born and raised in South Boston, living in Quincy for the past 39 years. Karen worked for many years as a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. Family was the cornerstone of Karen’s life and she enjoyed many vacations with Peter throughout the years.

Beloved wife of Peter D. Dugan of Quincy for 45 years. Daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Geoghegan. Cherished mother of Dorsey Dugan and his wife Stacie of Quincy and Patrick Dugan of Quincy. Treasured Grandma of Grace, Liam and Maeve. Loving sister of Kathleen Cummings of Hyde Park and Patricia Kolesinski of South Boston. Karen is predeceased by her siblings Mary “Mickey” McGinn, Julia “Judy” Binda and Thomas “Tommy” Geoghegan.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Boston.
