Karen Brooks

Karen Brooks, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2025, at the age of 75 in Weymouth, MA. She was born on July 20, 1949, in Bath, ME. Karen's journey began as the cherished daughter of Marney and Stanley Woods, who predeceased her. She grew up in Bath and was a proud graduate of Morse High School. Karen carried her passion for learning to Endicott College.

In 1972, Karen married the love of her life, Paul E. Brooks, and together they navigated the waters of life for 53 harmonious years. Karen was a beloved sister to Rick Woods and his wife Gail of Richmond, VA, and a cherished aunt to several nieces and nephews. Professionally, Karen was a trailblazer. As the owner of Brooks Data Systems, she demonstrated her entrepreneurial spirit. Her leadership skills shone brightly in her role as Senior Vice President at Norel Service Company. Beyond her professional endeavors, Karen had a profound love for gardening and astronomy.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 1-3 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A - Bicknell Square). A funeral service will follow at 3 PM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home.
