Karen A. (Alexander) Pare

Mrs. Karen A. (Alexander) Pare, of West Bridgewater, passed away surrounded by her loving family on November 3, 2023. She was 56. 

Born in Quincy, a daughter of the late Robert J. and Helen M. (Hartnett) Alexander.  Karen was raised in Hanover and created a loving home with the love of her life, Ray in West Bridgewater.  Karen worked for over 30 years for State Street Bank. 

Karen was passionate about every aspect of her life, including her hobbies, and in her spare time she enjoyed decorating (especially for Christmas), traveling, all things Disney and most importantly doing her favorite pastime; scrapbooking.  Karen always took immense pride in her work and her attention to detail was impeccable.  Above all, she loved making others smile.

According to everyone who knew and loved Karen, there are few words that can accurately capture her essence.  Vivacious, bubbly, joyful and simply FABULOUS.  Karen was one of the brightest lights on this earth.  She was unlike anyone else and was instantly loved by everyone she met.  She has left a void in so many lives and will be deeply missed by all who were lucky to know her.

Loving sister of Susan A. DiRamio and her husband, Richard, of Marshfield, and Stephen M. Alexander of Derry, NH. 

Aunt of Cassidy, Brendan, and Catelyn DiRamio of Marshfield, Kaila Calling and her husband, Austin, of Portland, CT, and Devyn DeFalco of Bristol, R.I. 

Daughter in law of Raymond and Kathleen Pare of Brockton. 

Sister in law of Michelle DeFalco and her husband, James, of Brockton, Michael Pare of Brockton, and Maryellen Robertson and her husband, Scott, of Pembroke.

Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends both here and in Ireland. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Wednesday from 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). 

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 10 am in Saint Ann’s Church, West Bridgewater. 

Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater.
