K. Frances St. Pierre

K. Frances St. Pierre (Callahan) of Dorchester, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2017.

She and her late husband, Louis St. Pierre, brought their children up in Weymouth in the house he built, and then split their time between Weymouth and Englewood, Florida, for many years. They enjoyed having many friends in both states, and always looked forward to spending time outdoors on camping trips in New Hampshire. She was fascinated by the history of lighthouses and her own family ancestry, and she loved learning about the world when she traveled to places like Spain and Ireland. She passed that love of learning and her positive energy to those whose lives she touched. Frances will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was the beloved wife of the late Louis J. St. Pierre, and the mother of Sandra Pagnano and her husband, William Pagnano, of Union, Maine; James St. Pierre and wife, Beverly St. Pierre, of Weymouth; and the late Gerard St. Pierre and his wife, Susan St. Pierre, of Roslindale. She was predeceased by her sister Lillian Cunningham of Fort Myers, Florida, and is survived by her sister, Irene Bausch of Burlington; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. She also received much kindness and compassionate care at the Queen Anne Nursing Home in Hingham, for which the family is especially thankful. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday, April 19, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home at 809 Main Street, South Weymouth. Relatives and friends will then gather in the funeral home on Thursday, April 20, at 8:30 a.m. prior to the Funeral Mass at St. Francis Xavier Church in Weymouth at 9:30 a.m.
