June Glynn

Glynn, June of Bradenton, Florida, formerly of Quincy, passed away after a brief illness on October 11, 2011. Beloved wife of the late John Glynn. Loving mother of Robert Farquharsan of Quincy, Daniel Farquharson of Quincy, John Glynn and his wife Bonnie of Plymouth, Barry Glynn and his wife Paule of Quincy, Garry Glynn and his wife Megan of Norwell and the late Michael Farquharson of Quincy and Bradenton, Florida. Loving sister of Lorraine Raymond, Barbara Conley, Cathy Paulson, Gerry Henault, Robert Conley, and the late Lee Coolen. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Before moving to Florida, June worked for Stone and Webster in Boston and at the Irish Pub in Quincy. She kept active by walking on the beach and attending her weekly card games and luncheons. June was a member of the D. A. V., Elks, Moose, Eagles, and American Legion organizations. She enjoyed volunteering during the holidays and making the dinners a happy occasion. June loved spending time with her sons, sisters, and grandchildren. She loved going to the beach and was very happy being retired and living in Florida. June was well known and loved throughout Quincy as well as in Bradenton, Florida. She will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of June may be made to Autism Speaks, 5455 Wilshire Blvd, Suite 2250 Los Angeles, CA 90036.
