June F. Shea

Shea, June F. (Grandy) of Hull and Fort Meyers FL, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family October 06, 2009. Beloved wife of the late John F. Shea Sr. Loving mother of John F. Shea Jr., of Norwood, Stephen T. Shea of FL, Florence G. Driscoll of RI and Maureen S. Hennessy of KY. Devoted grandmother of Joanne Austin, Peter J. Driscoll, Deborah Shea Norton, John R. Shea and Kevin S. Hennessy. June is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren. June and her late husband John spent most of ther married life in Hyde Park before retiring to their summer home on Gunrock Beach in Hull. She spent her winters in Fort Myers, FL where she lived independently until June ,2009 before returning to New England. June was devoted to her family and friends. She enjoyed playing bridge at which she was a Master, gardening and singing in her choir group The Sweet Adelines. June loved to travel with her husband especially to Prince Edward Island where her parents emmigrated from. June leaves countless friends from Fort Meyers and Massachusetts. She lived a long full happy life and will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Friday 4 – 8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Assumption Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull.
