June E. Simeone

June E. (Fraza) Simeone, age 96, formerly of Cohasset, died December 18, 2017 in Warminster, Pennsylvania.   She was the beloved wife to the late Louis N. Simeone. Cherished mother to Dana Simeone (Arlene) of Doylestown, Pennsylvania and the late Craig Simeone. Caring grandmother to Joshua Simeone (Abby) of Philadelphia and Scott Simeone (Katie) of Durham, North Carolina.  Great Grandmother to Holden and Beckett.  Loving sister to the late Donald A. Fraza of Michigan and Lorraine Longstreth of Michigan. Devoted sister-in-law to Nancy Anderson and Anna Abbruzzese of Cohasset.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Born in Detroit, Michigan, June lived there until her marriage in 1946 to Louis when she moved to Cohasset.  She made her home there for the next 60 years, working much of that time as a teacher and aide for the Cohasset Public Schools.  She continued to tutor students after her retirement in 2001.  Her passion for teaching young children was matched by her prowess in making holiday-themed cookies, crafting projects, and sewing.  She will be sadly missed, and never forgotten.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Memorial Mass at St. Anthony’s Church in Cohasset on Saturday, December 23, at 10AM.  Burial to follow at Woodside Cemetery, Cohasset. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Humane Society (www.humanesociety.org ).
