June E. (Crossman) Joyce, of Weymouth, passed away at home on September 18, 2021. June lived a life full of love in Weymouth, Quincy, White Horse Beach and Naples, Florida. She started her working years as the beloved ice cream girl at Woodland Dairy and went on to offer childcare to many families throughout the years. She was the quintessential caretaker and loved being with family. June enjoyed bowling, dancing, watching her soaps and had a special place in her heart for Elvis. She will be deeply missed.  

Beloved wife of 58 years to the late William F. “Bibba” Joyce. Devoted mother of William Joyce of Quincy and John J. Joyce and his wife Kelley of Weymouth. Cherished Nana/Nannie to Stephanie Witham and her husband Patrick, John J. Joyce, Jr. and his wife Stephanie, Nicole Marie Joyce, Marissa Alice Joyce and Kurt Lawrence Joyce. GiGi/Grammy to Aiden, Abigail, Alyssa, Alivia, Raelynn, Clyde Joseph and Cora. Loving sister of Peggy Doucette of FL, Carol Riley of Sudbury, Norman Crossman and his wife Debra of Milton and the late John Crossman. Dearest friend of Joan Stearns of Weymouth. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and godchildren. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of June may be made to Beacon Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association.
