June Denafio

June Denafio (Horsman) 77, born December 10,1946 died October 28,2024 after a courageous battle with pneumonia and heart disease. June was born with cerebral palsy which gave her many limitations that only others could see. She never let it stop her from doing all the things that a mother and a grandmother would do. June was a feisty lady, if she loved you, she would likely point out your weaknesses but fiercely defend you to anyone. Her loyalty was unmatched; you could always count on her to be there for you. Her quick,witty come backs and one liners, she kept us all laughing. She enjoyed spending time with family near and far. Watching the Red Sox, days at Wessagueset, going to Lake George and our many other family gatherings are some of her favorite past times.  

She is survived by her three children, Thomas Denafio Jr his wife, Kim Denafio and his children, Erika, Thomas, Anthony, and the late Amanda Denafio, Dale Denafio his children, Kristin and Angela Denafio, and Jennifer Millen (DeNafio) and her children Paul and Kelsey Banta who she lived and help raise for many years . As well as Jennifer’s late husband, Jeffrey Millen. June also is survived by seven great grandchildren, Junes brother Dale Hosman, and was proceeded by her other three siblings. Her many nieces nephews,and very close cousins. June’s late husband Thomas Denafio Senior. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 10:30 AM.
