June D. Raftery

Raftery, June D. (Salmaine) of South Yarmouth February 21, 2004. Devoted wife of John P. Raftery. Loving mother of Donald Raftery of Greenwich, CT. Sister of Frank Salmaine of Hull. Also survived by 3 grandchildren. June was raised in Brookline where she was head cheerleader in 1947. She lived 30 yrs. in Hingham before retiring to Cape Cod. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham at Noon. Visiting hours prior to Mass Tuesday 9-11:30 AM. Cremation will follow. Donations in memory of Mrs. Raftery may be made to Hospice of Cape Cod, 270 Communication Way, Hyannis, MA 02601.
